Privacy Policy

Arlo Ads ("Arlo," "we," "us") is operated by Namos Labs. This policy explains what information we collect when you use arlo.ads (the "Service"), why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider, Clerk, collects your name, email address, and (if you use social login) basic profile data from that provider. We store a corresponding user record linked to your Clerk account.
Creator and sponsor profile data. Creators provide newsletter details, ad formats, pricing, and connected platform information (e.g. OAuth tokens for analytics integrations, which we encrypt at rest). Sponsors provide company details, campaign briefs, and ad creative.
Booking and payment data. Payments and payouts are processed by Stripe and Stripe Connect. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles that data directly. We do store booking records, amounts, and Stripe identifiers needed to reconcile transactions.
Messages and content. Messages exchanged between creators and sponsors, uploaded creative assets, and campaign updates are stored so both parties can reference them.
Usage and device data. We use Sentry to capture error reports and performance data (including device, browser, and stack trace information) so we can diagnose and fix bugs. If Google Analytics is enabled, it collects standard web analytics (pages visited, referrer, approximate location, device type) as described in our cookie notice.
Tracking links and click data. If you use our tracking-link or conversion-tracking features, we record click and conversion events tied to those links to generate analytics reports.
How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and authenticate you via Clerk
- To facilitate bookings, payments, and payouts via Stripe
- To deliver transactional email (booking confirmations, creative approvals, notifications) via Resend
- To operate the messaging, analytics, and reporting features you use
- To monitor, debug, and improve the reliability of the Service via Sentry
- To measure site usage via Google Analytics, only if you consent via the cookie banner
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers needed to operate Arlo, and with the other party to a booking (e.g. a sponsor sees the creator's public profile; a creator sees a sponsor's campaign details). Our subprocessors include:
- Clerk — authentication and user identity
- Neon — our PostgreSQL database host
- Stripe — payments, payouts, and billing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Sentry — error monitoring
- Netlify — hosting, and file storage for uploaded creative assets
- Google Analytics — site analytics, only when you consent
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and, if you consent, analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can manage your preference at any time using the cookie banner, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Data retention
We retain account and booking data for as long as your account is active and as needed to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records (e.g. completed transactions) may be retained where required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at team@namoslabs.com. If you are a business that needs a signed Data Processing Agreement, see our DPA page.
Security
We encrypt sensitive data such as connected-platform OAuth tokens at rest, use TLS in transit, and validate webhook signatures from our providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable any available account protections.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may also be announced on our changelog.
