Creating Ad Slots
Quick guide to setting up ad slot types and pricing.
What Are Slot Types?
Slot types define the different sponsorship placements you offer (e.g., header ad, banner, mention). Each has a name, description, and price.
How to Create
- Go to Dashboard → Ad Slots
- Click "Add Slot Type"
- Enter name, description, and price
- Save (appears on booking page immediately)
Common Slot Types
Primary Sponsor
Top placement with logo, headline, CTA
Banner Ad
Mid-newsletter banner with image
Text Mention
Brief text-only mention
Pricing Formula
$10-25 per 1,000 subscribers for premium placements.
Example: 10k subs = $100-250/slot
Writing Good Descriptions

Tips
- • Start with 1-2 slot types, add more later
- • Be specific about what's included
- • Include metrics (open rate, audience size)
- • You can pause/unpause slots anytime
- • Adjust pricing as your newsletter grows
